Oceń post

The world is not forgetting about Ukraine and the war that has been going on there for several months. The World For Ukraine Summit, an international summit, was held in Rzeszow in December 2022. AC Porath Agency organized a logistics panel and a workshop to impart knowledge on how to ensure effective delivery of commercial goods, humanitarian aid and all kinds of military support during the armed conflict in Ukraine.

Panels, workshops, meetings

The event covered humanitarian, social, economic issues, including, but not limited to: helping refugees, providing key services, rebuilding the economy, sustaining trade relations, energy security. During the summit, customs agency AC Porath organized a workshop and panel on “Logistics of Transporting Aid and Goods to Ukraine – Black Swans of Supply Chains.” Speakers included: Joanna Porath, owner of AC Porath, Marcin Ramotowski (SGS), Andrzej Bulka (Fracht FWO Poland) and Aleksandra Kus (European Logistics Center), while the discussion part was joined by special guests Anna Abramczyk-Abichou (LS Airport Services) and Bartlomiej Felczynski (Baltic Hub).

In today’s world, until recently, there was widespread faith in the predictability of events. Reality, however, constantly surprises us with events that shock us to the point that they have gained their own definition. These are the so-called “black swans,” or factors that affect supply chains under conditions of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity- explains Joanna Porath, founder and CEO of AC Porath.

Participants of W4UA had the opportunity to exchange experiences, establish closer relations, and learn about the real needs of Ukrainian cities and villages.

Participation in such a unique event as the World For Ukraine Summit turned out to be was an extraordinary experience for us. Not only in business terms, but also, or perhaps even primarily, in human terms. It was the first time we met with so many human stories in one place and indirectly experienced the enormity of the tragedy that befell our neighbors. We are all the more pleased that with our presence we made a small contribution to help Ukraine, which after all, needs our joint support like never before. In Rzeszow we were able to establish many interesting contacts with representatives of business, local administration or aid organizations. We strongly believe in the sense of organizing similar events and hope that in the near future there will be peace across our eastern border and we will start the process of reconstruction– says Marcin Ramotowski, Customs Services Development Manager at SGS.

Partners of the entire event were international foundations with global reach, including: Spirit of America and Global Empowerment Mission.
