Welcome to the training course “Product safety – import of goods into the EU”.

The training educates participants about the obligations of importers with regard to product safety (including sanctions imposed on importers), the causes for which goods may be detained by customs authorities and the reasons for negative opinions of specialized authorities within this scope. Particular emphasis is placed on the identification of goods that are covered by product safety rules and the correct labelling of products, as well as the relevant documentation requirements.
The training is intended for customs representatives, customs warehouse operators and importers purchasing products from non-EU countries.
